praying for your kids

Most nights, Tara and I pray together before we go to sleep. We always pray for our boys. I ask God to guard them from having nightmares and to protect them. I ask him to help them follow him all the days of their lives. We also ask that our failures as parents would not cause them lasting harm.

Mark Batterson often comments about how he is seeking to raise his children. He wrote a post on praying for them here. I think I will start to pray this as well.

How do you pray for your kids?
