the reward of diligence

I ran across a CNN news headline on Twitter that I found incredible.  A University of Delaware graduate student, Amanda Daddona, was going through one of over 200 boxes of old documents and files. As she was flipping through, she found a letter from Thomas Jefferson.  Apparently this student and one other have been working around 10 hours a day to get these newly acquired documents processed. I love stories about people who work hard and are rewarded for it.

Proverbs 13:4 says, “The sluggard craves and gets nothing, but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied.”  I doubt this student expected to find such a great historical document, but what a great reward for her diligence.
